World Team time

Geri here.
On July 1st, since I am spending the whole month with Vickie for her birthday, we decided it would work for me to visit the World Team US office for my post field debrief, and then she would have family time.

So I headed into Pennsylvania, with the capable Vickie at the wheel. Driving in New England is scary.

I arrived early, and met with all the folks I needed and wanted to meet with. We filled the morning with individual meetings, wrapping up loose administrative ends, and talking possibilities for the future.
I shared over lunch with all the staff about my time in Cameroon, and then they prayed for me.
It was a really encouraging time.
After a few more informal meetings, I headed to the home of Joyce, and they warmly welcomed me there. We had pizza steaks (related to Philly Cheese steaks) for dinner, and we talked Yellowstone. They showed me beautiful pictures of their trips out west, and shared tips we should be able to use. We had a good time connecting and getting to know one another.
I rode back in to the office with my new friend the next morning. I had just enough time to resolve some final loose ends and have a few more conversations, and then it was time to go!

I am grateful for all of the World Team staff; you know who you are! We couldn't do what we do without you!
